Overview
Why buyers choose it
-
Rated below 90 °C
Built for hot-water service rather than a cold meter run past its rating.
-
Sealed extra-dry dial
Hermetically sealed, so the register stays clear and readable on a hot line.
-
Magnetic drive
No part of the register touches the water; the gearing stays out of the hot flow.
-
Two strainers as standard
An inlet strainer and an internal one protect the jets and impeller from debris.
In detail
A multi-jet meter divides the incoming water into several jets spaced around its impeller, so the load on the impeller and its bearing is balanced and the meter holds its accuracy through years of stop-start use. This version is built for hot water: a brass body with threaded ends, rated for water below 90 °C at up to 16 bar, for residential, commercial and industrial hot-water lines.
It is made in five sizes from DN15 to DN50, with nominal flows from 1.5 to 15 m³/h. At DN15 it starts measuring at 30 L/h and reads to 0.0001 m³; the DN40 and DN50 sizes read to 0.001 m³.
The register is an extra-dry dial, hermetically sealed so that it cannot fog over the life of the meter, and driven magnetically so that no part of it is in contact with the water. Register and closure are in shock-resistant material, an inlet strainer and an internal strainer are both standard, and the spare parts are interchangeable for maintenance in service. A pulse output is available for remote reading.
The meter is declared to ISO 4064 in accuracy class B, the classification of the 1993 edition, with Qmin, Qt, Qn and Qmax flow points; it is not equivalent to class 1 or 2 of the current edition. The limits of error are ±5% from the minimum to the transitional flow and ±2% above it.

Parts
Parts of a multi-jet meter
How a meter of this type is built, and what this model is made of.
-
Lid
Caps the register and keeps water and debris off the dial.
-
Register
Totalises and displays the water passed.
Register type Multi jet, extra-dry dial, hermetically sealed, magnetically driven
-
Register ring / seal
Seals the register housing against water ingress.
-
Measuring chamber insert (with jets)
Directs several jets onto the impeller from multiple sides for balanced, even wear.
-
Impeller
Turns with the combined jets and drives the register.
-
Strainer
Screens out grit and debris before the measuring element.
-
Body
Houses the measuring element and carries the flow.
