Overview
Why buyers choose it
-
IP68, for a chamber that floods
Rated for submersion rather than for splash, which is the condition it actually meets.
-
Reading and reporting set apart
Log often and report rarely, then report every reading while a leak is chased — changed remotely.
-
Not only meters
Pressure and water-quality instruments join the same terminal, so a DMA arrives on one device.
-
One instrument, no scheme
Puts a single bulk meter on the network without a concentrator or a riser to wire.
In detail
This is the unit that puts a single large meter on the network without a scheme around it. It sits with the meter, reads it, and reports over NB-IoT or 4G — which is the usual answer for a bulk meter at a district boundary, where there is one instrument that matters and no riser to wire.
It is not limited to meters. Pressure gauges and water-quality instruments connect to the same terminal, so a district metering area and its monitoring can arrive on the platform through one device rather than three.
How often it reads and how often it reports are set remotely and separately. A terminal can log every fifteen minutes and report once a day while nothing is wrong, then report every reading while a leak is being chased — without anybody visiting the chamber to change it.
Sealed to IP68, because the honest place for one of these is a chamber that floods.
