In detail
The multi-jet element with a liquid-sealed register and wireless reading built in. Several inlet ports load the impeller evenly, which is why a multi-jet holds accuracy across a long service life rather than drifting off it, and the liquid seal keeps the dial legible so the meter can still be verified by eye.
That combination matters on a scheme that is read remotely. A meter whose dial has become unreadable can no longer be checked against the system, and the first time anybody notices is during a dispute. Here the manual reading stays available as the reference it is supposed to be.
The sensor is non-magnetic, so an external magnet neither stalls nor accelerates the register, and the attempt is reported. The electronics sit apart from the measuring element, so a battery or radio failure is a module change rather than a meter replacement.
It reads at an R160 turndown, runs for at least ten years on its battery, and is sealed to IP68.
